The
whole day today felt as though
It was only a moment in time.
How little things can change so fast
Within a blink of an eye.
Isn't it funny how things so small as a bird
Can feel your loneliness and try to cheer you up?
Pretty Bird from out of nowhere
Started to whistle a tune for me
One that I taught him long ago.
Probably hoping to take my mind off of
The saddness that was afflicting me so.
I suppose I will let you go for now
And I hope you get this soon.

Forever and a year.
