There may be hundreds of miles
In between our hearts,
Though not one of us has mentioned,
The longing that I have for you
Has forever been untold.
The love I have,
And the dreams I've dreamt,
Just never did unfold.
Why does one keep a love so deep
Away and oh so hidden?
And now the miles in between our hearts
May only recognize profusion.
