Remembering
One day
as I was driving,
The sky
was blue the clouds were high.
I could
remember as a child
The
dreams I had,
That flight of fancy I would ride upon.
Just a
simple breeze for that memory to be summoned up,
Oh how
much I loved just being the child.
The
summer sun,
The
autumn breeze,
The
falling leaves of distant trees.
The
grass so green and flowing,
I had to
pull over and turn off the engine
I had to
get out of my car
To let my childhood memories
Drown me
from a far.
